Historical Fact:

The parish was officially erected on October 17, 1994, replacing the older Sto. Cristo Chapel that originally served the area.
It was solemnly declared a parish on June 24, 2001, and has since become the religious center of Barangay Malanday.
The church is famous for its vibrant community fiesta featuring street dancing and grand morning processions for the Señor Santo Kristo.
