Founded relatively recently in 1996, the parish was carved out of the Holy Cross Parish to better serve the residents of Barangay Ugong.
Despite its modern establishment, the church’s architecture was designed to resemble older, more traditional stone churches.
It was officially dedicated in December 2022, marking a major milestone in the spiritual history of the community.
