Established in 1960, its creation was spearheaded by the Legion of Mary to provide a closer place of worship for the residents of the Tugatog area.
The current site was acquired and completed through the efforts of the local community and the Vincentian priests.
The church is a popular local landmark along M.H. Del Pilar Street, a major artery connecting Malabon to Caloocan.
