SAMPALOC
NATIONAL SHRINE AND PARISH OF OUR LADY OF LORETO
- The Provincial Father of the Philippine Franciscans built the first church in Sampaloc in 1613.
- Named and dedicated to the Virgin Mary, honoring her Loreto pilgrimage site where tradition holds her house was relocated.
- On November 22, 1958, the church was rededicated to Our Lady of Loreto.
