The Carmelite Monastery, also known as Carmel of St. Teresa of Jesus Monastery, was established on November 21, 1987, in Sitio Tuatua, Barangay Matiao, City of Mati, Davao Oriental. Spanning 16 hectares,
It features a Prayer Garden with life-sized statues sculpted by José Barcena, depicting various mysteries of the Rosary.
Accessible via a hanging bridge, the garden is located about 100 meters from the church.
