San Nicolas de Tolentino was born as a reward from God to his parents who patiently prayed in front of the shrine of San Nicolas of Bari where he was named. He was shaped by the work of piety and became an Augustinian.
For more than 30 years, he stayed in the town of Tolentino where he performed many wonders and works. He showed his holiness through his actions that were pleasing to God.
