San Agustin Church
Historical Fact:
  • Established in 1572 in Barrio Santa Catalina, this church was relocated to its current site thirty years later because of annual flooding.
  • Constructed by Architect Fr. Antonio Herrera, an Augustinian, the church was built between 1614 and 1630 using locally-made brick and sand mixed with egg albumen provided by the residents of Lubao.
