St. Paul Church in Cabagan, Isabela, has long been the focal point of Catholicism in Northern Isabela.
Legend has it that Biwag, a native from the Spanish era, protected Christian residents of Cabagan from the headhunting Kalingas through amulets and remarkable strength.
