The Diocesan Shrine and Parish of St. Joseph, more commonly known as Las Piñas Church, is located in one of the city’s oldest districts.
It is home to the renowned Bamboo Organ of Las Piñas, a pipe organ made of bamboo that was built in 1816 by its first parish priest, Fr. Diego Cera de la Virgen del Carmen.
Fr. Cera also built the pipe organs of the Manila Cathedral and the San Nicolas de Tolentino Church in the old walled city of Manila.
